Academics can be overwhelming for students if they don’t have the skills to cope with challenges or to make responsible decisions. In recent years, many schools have put programs in place to address social-emotional skills such as self-management and perserverance. While most people would agree that these kinds of skills are important for student success, many question whether they should be taught in the classroom. What do you think?
